Presumed dead in the attempt against <strong>Naul<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Binah<\/strong> &#8211; a date in <em>E<\/em>&#8216;s past. Apparently a witch. Who&#8217;da-thunk?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sir Darius<\/strong> &#8211; a troll knight in the Small Court.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dezi<\/strong> &#8211; one of <em>Binah<\/em>&#8216;s friends. Might be a witch. Who knows? With <strong>E<\/strong>&#8216;s luck, probably. [sigh]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Doloise<\/strong>\u00a0 <strong>Mallory<\/strong> &#8211; a fey who contracts <em>E<\/em> for a job. Presumed dead.<\/p>\n<p><em>Description<\/em>: Has &#8220;distracting&#8221; legs (wears shiny heels), a tight dress of charcoal grey, saffron curls, and expensive amber sunglasses.<\/p>\n<p>Should be moved to &#8220;<strong>Creatures<\/strong>&#8221; as she&#8217;s actually a <strong>Realm<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>E<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; The protagonist of the story, portal doctor extraordinaire.<\/p>\n<p><em>Description<\/em>: Mouse-brown hair, cut short, green eyes.\u00a0 Average height, a little thick. Constantly described as &#8220;cute&#8221; rather than handsome. Not wimpy, but not an athlete.<\/p>\n<p><strong>E&#8217;s Sister<\/strong> &#8211; the antagonist of any situation.\u00a0 OK, that&#8217;s <strong>E<\/strong>&#8216;s view, anyway.<\/p>\n<p><strong>E&#8217;s Mom<\/strong> &#8211; oh, lordy, don&#8217;t ask.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ed<\/strong> &#8211; A good friend of Dr.\u00a0 E<em>&#8216;<\/em>s &#8211; has an extermination business.\u00a0 Baits as well as poisons, if you have to ask. Not afraid of much, he&#8217;s on the edge of being &#8220;in the Know,&#8221; but definitely isn&#8217;t a practitioner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ed&#8217;s Mom<\/strong> &#8211; Suspected spy, very good cook, might be a writer. \u00a0Definitely a witch.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jonath<\/strong> &#8211; one of <strong>E<\/strong>&#8216;s college roommates. His mom lived in a house with strange incidents, and he was never heard of again after moving in with her. Hmmm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hawk<\/strong> &#8211; a vampire hunter.\u00a0 Very disappointed that he was unable to complete the job with <em>Matana<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maggie<\/strong> &#8211; also Magda, Magster (the Nagster), short for Magdalene.\u00a0 <em>E<\/em>&#8216;s most recent ex-girlfriend, and fairly powerful witch.<\/p>\n<p><em>Description<\/em>: Magda has short black hair, curling slightly at the ends.\u00a0 Her skin shows off a recent non-caucasian ancestor, but otherwise, she self-identifies as white.\u00a0 Her eyes are brown, more honey than chocolate.\u00a0 She has three piercings in her left ear, two in her right.\u00a0 Full lips.\u00a0 Her legs are incredible, if you ask <strong>E<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matana<\/strong> &#8211; a vampire exchange student in <em>Maggie&#8217;<\/em>s coven.\u00a0 Studies exercise science with a focus on shapeshifter health, or something like that.\u00a0 Speaks very elegantly, but still as if English was a studied language.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Messenger<\/strong> &#8211; some kind of -cubi, full of the powers of lust and passions, the Metatron of the sexy people, if you must. \u00a0Has been named\u00a0<em>Asherlat<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nellie<\/strong> &#8211; one of <em>The Red Poets Society<\/em>, also <em>Ivan&#8217;<\/em>s lover, and, well, once and forever the Dragon <strong><em>Naul<\/em>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Nen<\/em> &#8211; see\u00a0<strong>Rent-a-Wreck<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nikolai<\/strong> &#8211; a wolfhound made from a spell.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Peredur<\/strong> &#8211; the current name of a Dragon of wicked demeanor and amused appetite.\u00a0 Provided the Breath of Life to <em>Doloise<\/em>.\u00a0King, maybe,\u00a0of the <em>Gillikins<\/em>, as <strong>E<\/strong> named them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Questor<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; a servant of some creature that can provide the location of the answer of your question, should you dare to find it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Questor&#8217;s Wife &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>a wizard kindly affiliated with\u00a0<strong>E<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rayya<\/strong> &#8211; &#8220;I come from under the hill, and over the waters, when the waves turned to chill as they danced with winter\u2019s daughters.\u00a0 I\u2019m a snowflake, an icicle, an eave dropped in a game, I\u2019m the silver ring\u2019s caller, and Rayya\u2019s my name.&#8221;\u00a0 Also known as &#8220;The Water that Shapes the Stones.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Red Poets Society<\/strong> &#8211; includes <strong>Andrei<\/strong> the lover, <strong>Artur<\/strong> the young warrior, <strong>Nellie<\/strong> the martyr, and <strong>Viktor<\/strong> the hunter.\u00a0 Also, <strong>Ivan<\/strong>, who sold his heart to be able to talk to the dead.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rent-a-Wreck<\/strong>, the given name to an elflike creature whose sole purpose is to give <strong>E<\/strong> heart-attacks from sudden teleports.\u00a0 OK, not really.\u00a0 He&#8217;s involved somehow with the <em>Small Court<\/em>.\u00a0 &#8220;Cold Waves that Crash on Rocks,&#8221; is his moniker.\u00a0 His given name is Nen.\u00a0 Brother to Rayya.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roberto<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>E<\/strong>&#8216;s sister&#8217;s paramour du jour.\u00a0 Has a nice car, and a secret life as a Numancian demon-hunter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rohana<\/strong> &#8211; an EMT who fell into <strong>E<\/strong>&#8216;s life twice, and figured it was fate. More a healer than a witch, exactly, not a member of Maggie&#8217;s coven, but knows the Magster.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Seven King of Small Things<\/strong> &#8211; we&#8217;re not sure, yet.\u00a0 Has a court near the Sacred Acorn. \u00a0The Seven King seemed to be a bunch of forms of women, tempting\u00a0<strong>E<\/strong>\u00a0and drawing him into the future to hide some purpose.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Shadow King<\/strong> &#8211; Squatter on the edge of Faerie, who happens to be a minor Power, often confused with or in conjunction with being a deity.\u00a0\u00a0 Has an influence on battle, inciteful, you might say.\u00a0 Made a deal with a major &#8211;<em>cubi<\/em> Controller by offering them a chance at some witches. \u00a0Has been named\u00a0<em>Muak-Lal<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sylvia<\/strong> &#8211; unfortunate victim of an incubus that <strong>Maggie<\/strong> found from a craigslist ad.\u00a0 Recently planning on joining <strong>Maggie<\/strong>&#8216;s coven.\u00a0 Was in pre-law, is now officially &#8220;undeclared.&#8221; Oh, and, um, potential girlfriend for <strong>E<\/strong>.\u00a0 Well, not anymore, given that she just died in a spectacular weirdness incident.<\/p>\n<p><em>Description<\/em>: She was dressed in an oversized man\u2019s shirt, half-buttoned, and a pair of wrinkled jeans. Glasses, mussed hair, with streaks of brassy gold in otherwise tawny brown hair, and large blue eyes.\u00a0 She smelled good.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas<\/strong> &#8211; referenced as a &#8220;fellow&#8221; when speaking of &#8220;practitioners,&#8221; so probably some sort of mage.\u00a0 Mentioned in the past tense.\u00a0 Studied the fey, as much as one can. \u00a0Found out to be alive, but imprisoned by\u00a0<em>the Seven King<\/em>, who wanted a child of a mortal.
